As part of our continued investment in our growing survey department, we now have a new NORBIT WINGHEAD i77h Multibeam Echosounder with ultra-high-resolution curved array

The advanced NORBIT WINGHEAD sonars are designed to provide powerful signal processing capabilities, offering roll-stabilised bathymetry and various imagery and backscatter outputs, ensuring the highest quality survey data performance. The highly portable i77h is an Ultra-High Resolution Curved Array Bathymetric System, offering a powerful combination of high performance with a compact size. The i77h allows for rapid deployment, offering tight integration with the Applanix OceanMaster GNSS/INS positioning system to deliver quality survey data even in the most challenging environmental conditions. This integration supports efficient survey data acquisition for both existing and new applications.

The i77h is designed to operate effectively in demanding operational environments, such as surveying under bridges and rough sea conditions. The system can be mounted on various surface survey platforms ranging from small unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) to large vessel hull mounts, emphasising its adaptability to demanding operational environments.
